The Warrington in Detroit - AirBNB Review
A great place to stay in Detroit
whether visiting family, friends, or here on business. The Warrington is a nice calm space of your own to retreat to.
What can I say about the Warrington in Detroit? This home is a honor to manage, and I love the response from all of the satisfied guests.
The home is over 100 years old, built in 1918 a multi-family home constructed in a time where the city was just beginning to expand into the northern part of the city away from the water and the Brush Park neighborhood. Immigrants and minorities had at the time begun settling from all over making housing and jobs competitive & over-populated. Those who were better off decided to build outwards into newer communities such as The University District and Sherwood Forest.
After a long renovation this home has undergone a stellar make-over while keeping it’s beautiful historic features well in-tact. New windows, new plumbing, new roof, new electric, new kitchens, and new bathrooms seemed to do the trick for this old house.
The Kitchen Design
Was intended to make the best use of space by using counters everywhere we could.
The kitchen could easily feel small so we decided to use colors that were relatively light.
Storage was a must, the kitchen is thoroughly equipped with cabinets, drawers, and storage space.
Cute & Cozy Bathroom
If you think about it many years ago, the people were much smaller, the design of the bathroom didn’t leave a lot of space to work with, so we decided to keep it simple. Cute & Cozy.
Designed with you and yours in mind.
Enjoy spreading out over a meal or a meeting of the minds at this custom crafted farm-house table which spans the length of virtually your whole dining room. Wow!!
